4. Arrange and join the B and B-D units with the A and E squares, and C and F triangles in diagonal rows referring to the Assembly Diagram; press seams in adjoining rows in opposite directions.

5. Join the pieced diagonal rows to complete the quilt top; press.

Here’s a Tip

Try using the right and wrong sides of print fabrics for the darks and lights in each color family to produce an interesting quilt.

Completing the Quilt

1. Sandwich the batting between the pieced top and a prepared backing piece; baste layers together. Quilt as desired.

2. When quilting is complete remove basting; trim batting and backing fabric even with raw edges of the pieced top.

3. Prepare binding and stitch to quilt front edges, matching raw edges, mitering corners and overlapping ends. Fold binding to back side and stitch in place to finish.
